A full redesign seems doubtful. But since this trail-friendly small SUV debuted for the 2021 model year, some say it’s due for a mid-cycle refresh. And we certainly wouldn’t complain about any new features! A Bronco Sport refresh could entail an extra-rugged Tremor package or retooled powertrain options. Since the upcoming model was spotted during product testing wearing Orange Fury paint, there’s one new feature we can say for sure is on its way!
Even without seeing the 2026 Bronco Sport spec sheet, we can confidently state that the upcoming version of this compact crossover will be specially designed for comfortable travel on both busy Central Florida highways and your favorite backroads to the springs. Although the Bronco Sport’s trail-tuned suspension doesn’t feel quite as smooth as that of a less-capable SUV, it delivers a livable daily drive. And when it’s time to cruise Daytona’s sands or Ocala’s forest roads, that trail-tuned suspension reveals its true worth!
2025 Ford Bronco Sport Powertrain Specs
Although these compact crossovers aren’t built for Floridians with huge boats or campers, they can manage a small finish boat or Jet Ski, no problem. Properly equipped, last year’s Bronco Sport can tow up to 2,200 pounds. The more powerful Badlands trim model can manage up to 2,700 pounds’ worth of trailer. (When we know more about how much the upcoming 2026 Bronco Sport can tow, we’ll update this space accordingly!)
